Commons Stack
By combining these components, it is possible to build an intentional, circular, community-led, and renewable economy through Continuous Funding and Transparent Decision-making. These components have been designed, simulated, and tested using token engineering tools and new best practices. They can be combined and customized to build an overall modeled and dynamically adaptive economy. The aim is to make complex system design easily accessible to cryptographic projects and purpose-driven communities, allowing them to fork and customize components according to their needs. The purpose of Commons Stack is not to directly launch and manage a commons economy, but to build the necessary tools and components for communities to leverage blockchain ecosystems and support the launch of commons economies. The goal is to build Our Commons and expand its influence at both local and global scales. The ultimate goal of Commons Stack is to provide digital infrastructure for scalable management of shared resources worldwide, prioritizing people and the planet, and enabling a Renewable intentional ecosystem. Commons Stack does not directly solve these issues, but rather aims to expand human cooperation towards shared goals and empower communities to solve their own problems, from local to global levels. They are building the infrastructure to support this. While blockchain technology is currently not capable of directly addressing these challenges, it is expected to be adopted by the open-source development community to promote digital public infrastructure (a public good provided to the world) in the long run.
